Senior Audit Manager – HUD & Affordable Housing
Fully Remote | $205,000 Full Benefits | CPA Required
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage HUD and affordable housing audit engagements from planning through issuance.
• Oversee multiple audit teams, ensuring quality, compliance, and timeliness.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, building strong consultative relationships.
• Review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Stay current on HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing regulations.
• Train and mentor audit staff and seniors on HUD-specific issues and audit techniques.

Requirements
• Active CPA license (Required).
• Minimum 8 years of public accounting experience with a focus on HUD and affordable housing audits.
• Strong knowledge of HUD Handbook, Uniform Guidance, and LIHTC regulations.
• Experience with nonprofit and/or governmental audits is a plus.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
