Job Description Manager, Audit and Systems
As WorkplaceNL's Manager, Audit and Systems you will be responsible for the Assessment Services audit program, leading a team that ensures employers are complying with the registration, reporting and payment requirements of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act, 2022 (the Act) and that all audit functions are effective, efficient and achieve the mandate of WorkplaceNL.
The Manager is responsible for the ongoing operation, development, support and enhancement of all modules of the Assessment System and online services for employers and the secure administration of the Assessment System.
Role Responsibilities Oversees and directs the day-to-day administration of all activities of the audit area including supervision, direction of employees and assignment of work. Monitors the annual audit program to ensure it is administered consistently, accurately and fairly to all employers.
Establishes annual work plans, goals and objectives, and provides on-the-job training and development for all auditors. Ensures employees are current and up to date on relevant matters of policy and legislation.
