The Internal Auditor will support the Travelstart Group's finance function with group-level financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, and internal controls.
The role offers exposure to a dynamic multi-entity, multi-currency online travel business and plays a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across the Group.
This position is ideal for a newly qualified CA(SA) seeking to build strong experience in group reporting, technical accounting, and process improvement within a fast-paced technology and e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Group & Management Reporting Assist with the preparation of monthly group management accounts Support group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations at the subsidiary level Assist with variance analysis and preparation of commentary for group reporting purposes Support reporting deadlines across multiple entities and jurisdictions Assist with the preparation of financial statements as and when required Technical Accounting & IFRS Assist with technical accounting matters under IFRS, including revenue recognition, leases, foreign currency, provisions, and business combinations where applicable Assist with technical queries around VAT with t
