Your area of work:The Purpose of Internal Audit is to create, protect, and sustain value by providing the board and management of Deutsche Börse Group with independent, risk-based, and objective assurance, advice, insight, and foresight.

It helps the company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

Your responsibilities: Planning and shaping of Deutsche Börse Group audit areas and their risk assessmentIndependent preparation and execution of audits as well as participating in Deutsche Börse Group coordinated auditsIdentification of deficiencies and improvement opportunities as well as development of pragmatic approaches to solve problemsSupport the creation of audit reports and communication of results to responsible line management in the audited areasFollow-up of audits and recommendationsSupport line management or projects and provide audit related consultancy in the proposal for and implementation of adequate internal controlsActive participation in shaping the audit methodology and processes as well as support of risk-based audit planningYour profile:Minimum two years of professional experience: practical internal or external audit experience, preferably in the EU banking sector; alternatively, operational experience in the banking or financial services sectorUniversity degree in business administration, economics, banking, law or similarProven knowledge of internal audit processes; professional certifications, e.g.

CIA, CRMA are welcomeKnowledge of Deutsche Börse Group business, processes and systems is an advantageHigh analytical skills, methodical know-how and conceptual understanding, e.g. processes in financial market and/or IT organizations, management and projectsInitiative, independent and goal-oriented approach to workStrong Communication and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, competent and engaging appearanceHigh level of proficiency in both written and spoken English; German language skills will be an asset
